Folks, I would just like to warn you all that the government has once again allowed another nutcase out on the roads....

Yep, I went and got my license renewed today. *ph34r* The best part was when Noel (my car for those who haven't had the sheer terror joy of riding with me) almost stalled getting out of the parking lot. I thought breaking down at the DMV might be somehow poetic.

Okay, and as a totally selfish meme... I wanna find out who reads this sucker, soooooooo- comment and I'll give you a drabble in the reply. Gimme a prompt, and I shall do my best to write it for you. And oh, I would NOT doubt it for a moment that there's some grain of truth to the theory that cops go slower to see how many people they can get piled up behind them as a game.

Ooooooookaaaaay... heh.. *sheepish*.. this took me WAY longer than I had thought when I first posted this challenge. Life sucks, we'll leave it at that. Anyway, I DID, in fact, have fun with your prompt, it gave me many fun ideas, but this is the one you're getting. As my SECOND, ever, exactly 100-word drabble, I present.. this... deliberatly vague, insert the fandom/character/situation of your choice. ;D

He was trapped. He knew it, his pursuers knew it, but he couldn’t give up. He smirked. Giving up just wasn’t his style. A gust of wind blew down the blind alley, bringing with it the dry scent of blood and smoke curling together around the sound of echoing gunfire from the mouth of the alley. They were coming. He knew the rounds he had left weren’t going to do him much good, but still the weight of the gun and the feel of it in his hand gave him a strange confidence. The hunters wouldn’t know what hit them.
