Went and saw Pirates today with my brother. I came away with three things forefront in my mind-

1. ZOMGWTFBBQ TENTACLE RAPE. O_O;

2. Okay, seriously, people, in the middle of a battle is NOT the best time to propose/get married. NOT! I felt so amazingly cheated by the movie people for thinking I need ROMANCE in my ACTION! And it being just a poorly planned set-up for Will becoming the Dutchman made it even cheaper. My brother and I privately suspect it's just because Disney didn't want Will and Elizabeth having pre-marital sex.

3. Having heard the song, and getting it stuck in my head, has taught me that these icons:

are even more utterly pretentious than I had previously realized. I didn't think that was possible. Good song, though.
