Playing Radiata Stories again, now that I'm no longer pissed at it. Is it bad that I have the urge to use one character instead of a more powerful, more useful other character just because the first character is a bishie?

Nope.

At least, I hope not. Otherwise I'd be equally cursed for making my FF7 squad Cloud, Vincent and Red XIII (okay, the latter isn't hot...ick...but he's damn, DAMN cool)

Or making my FF8 squad up of Irvine, Squall and Zell. Although I rotated Quistis in there a few times to kick the ass of the big monsters and get massive amounts of experience. And she had a whip, baby!

You wouldn't be cursed for that, anyway. That was my party, too, because Cloud was mandatory, Red XIII had like the best short-range attack (and, okay, was REALLY cool), and Vincent was just fucking powerful.
