To the crow that decided to start doing an impression of a car alarm outside our window at 7:30 this morning.

Dear crow,

Plz shut up or die. Or both. Or at least don't wake me up an hour before my alarm goes off and then continue cawing to KEEP me up. Please choose one of the above choices and stick with it. This is not a problem with option two. Plzkthxbye.

Not much love (although crows are pretty cool, so some love),
Me

Okay; I love birds. Crows and ravens especially. Love them. Find them alluring somehow.

However. I am not adverse to going outside at five in the morning to throw rocks at them. Once - just ONCE - I clipped one right on the wing. Loudmouth crow in the huge pines trees lining my property. Truth be told, I kind of cheated; used a slingshot and the little chunks of rubber around my dad's tools.

Shut him up, but the others were all, "Cawcawcaw, you got told, moron." =D

Death to them. AND THOSE FRACKING STARLINGS. Why at dawn, why?

And I sleep riiiiiiiiight through it.

As well as turning off my alarm several times. (I'll bet THAT was annoying if you were still in the room, sorry. ;_;)

Corvus used to have cawing matches at 5:00am with the crows outside during the few weeks I was taking care of him. Before, you know, the stupid Asper killed him. :(

You should have handed the crow something shiny. If crows had LJs, you wouldn't be the only one with "string and shiny things" as an interest.

The arrival of Corvus. (http://krillia.livejournal.com/116153.html)
First update (http://krillia.livejournal.com/116321.html)

The last post I made about him (http://krillia.livejournal.com/116153.html)

He died a few weeks after that post. Aspergillus is an enteric fungus present in bird lungs, that strikes them down when they get stressed, since it goes out of control. Apparently it's not uncommon for birds who are brought from captivity into the wild to be struck down by it.

Birds woke me up this morning too. Lots and lots of them. ... And of course the cat had to crawl across me to stare at them.
