So, today has been both yay and amazingly crappy.

First, I got my computer back. Whoo!

But then, said computer was COMPLETELY wiped. I mean, I knew it was going to have lost stuff, but... I lost everything, almost. Pictures, especially. Pictures from cons and family vacations and things that I didn't have backups of. Doujinshi and fandom pics. All my icons. My music seems to be safe, but that leads us to bad thing #2- there seems to be something wrong with my sound drivers. I've had to reinstall them twice tonight. While sound is less essential than some things, I kind of like having the option.

I was able to salvage my bookmarks, but... that's about the one highlight right now. Well, that and it cost about half what I was expecting. While it's far from perfect, I still couldn't buy a new comp for what this repair cost. And then I'd have to deal with Vista.

So, anyway, flist, my day has averaged out pretty crappy. And I have no pretties to cheer me up. Although the pretties from Krill are sitting at the post office waiting for me to pick them up on Tuesday. So, if you have a doujinshi you know I love or would love, or the scanlated volumes of Saiyuki Gaiden that I now have no memory of where I got them, or.. well... anything you think I might like, picture-wise. Hook me up?

That's most of what I had, yay. Don't spose one of you crazy kids out there would know how to hook me up with a photo editor of some sort? I could probably get one from Ani, but those official disks always want you to register and be all legal like. >.>;

I'm afraid I don't know. I need photo editing software for work, so I just use my work copy for fun stuff, too.

Compared to your collection, this is pitiful, and it's really only the Lavi/Kanda and Reborn stuff because the Dell had all the other stuff and it goes kaput regularly. I should learn to save elsewhere, but perhaps it's a start?

Yeah, not entirely sure why those ended up in the fanart file. But when I was weeding the Gurren Lagann and Gundam 00 stuff out (figured you wouldn't want it) I found 'em and thought you'd enjoy them.
