Sometimes it really kind sucks having a guy for a manager. I mean, as I've said many a time, I love Scott to pieces. I do. I couldn't ask for a better manager. It's just, well... Scott was all surprised that I came in today, after I left way early yesterday with the sick thanks to the Cramps of Epic Fail(tm). Now, see, if I had a female manager, I just could have explained that it was Cramps of Epic Fail(tm) and that I was feeling much better today, but you can't explain Cramps of Epic Fail(tm) to a guy. It's just... creepy. Possibly bordering on sexual harassment or something, I don't know. It's just Not Done.

So, yeah, score one for the gender divide.

Yes, all you have to do is say, "You see, sir, it's that time of the month" and you can almost hear the wall being built up around his brain so he doesn't have to process anything else you say. YOu could probably say, "It's that time of the month, sir, and I hate your guts" and it wouldn't matter, 'cuz the only thing going on in his mind is, "please don't say anything more about your period!!! Ew blood gross!"

I'm not like that, but 99% of my male friends are.

Seconded. I've had female managers and they tend to go "I don't have a problem, so suck it up and deal with it" at the problem, even though it's common knowledge not every female responds the same to her hormones going beserk. Nevermind that even in the same female it can change- I used to be very light with no cramps, and now I'm getting to be the total opposite, plus I've developed a tendency to get low-grade fevers and flu-like symptoms along with low iron.

But if you have a female manager? Chances are, she'll say "Suck it up and deal with it, I do." And she's probably a tiny whip of a girl who barely needs a pantyliner the whole damn time. -______-*
