Plague

Always glad to pimp a good book. ^_^ It's from "Impossible Odds" by Dave Duncan. It's a good book, part of a larger series called "The King's Blades." There's six books so far, and they run from REAAAAAALLY good to fairly mediocre, but they're interesting sorta-fantasy novels. I recommend them highly, ESPECIALLY the first one "The Gilded Chain." The first three are a trilogy, and they're REAAAAAAALLY weirdly written in that each is basically a stand-alone novel, but if you read any two, they won't make complete sense unless you read all three.

As for the "something more"... well, that would be spoiling the book. :D I will say that it involves a murder, an evil plot, and mistaken identities.
