In retrospect, I should have called ahead. That would have been a bit difficult, since neither the ad nor the website give a phone number for the HR Department, but still. I'll take that much blame. However, when the job listing says 'applicants may apply in person at the HR office Monday-Friday' one might expect there to be someone IN the HR office, seeing as it is now Monday.

I'm wondering if that's a sign that I'm just really not meant to have that job.
