Also, working Big Red Welcome tomorrow. Going to be hot and horrible, but yay overtime? Really going to need it in the coming couple months. About a week and a half till the New Orleans vacation. Janel's uber excited and I want to be excited, but... well... scary. Which it doesn't seem fair of me to be scared when I dragged Janel up here and it's not like she gets to leave in five days after meeting MY family. She's stuck here. But it's still scary. But it'll be time away from work no matter what happens. So yay.
Cosplay is... coming along. Very slowly. So very slowly. Really don't know if we'll finish any of these costumes before November, but it's kind of fun anyway. And I'm making chainmaille. How cool is that? Chainmaille! Me! Making my very own! Out of real links and everything! Also trying to work on my fics for hc_bingo but mostly failing so far. We'll see. I'll get at least one bingo if it kills me, but it's frustrating, wanting to write and not finding the time for that and rp and everything else ever and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
Man, this is a longer post than I've made in months. Damn. Um... Also watching Protect the Boss. Oh, lord, this show will be the death of me. It's cute and heartbreaking and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah it needs to get subbed faster, fersrs.
Anyway. Flist. What's up with you?
( Cut for tiny spoilers, just in case any of you haven't seen it yet but are going to. )
Otherwise this weekend, I've been mostly watching Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Aaaaaaaaaaah, Yoochunnie, so wonderful. Even if Yeorim is my favorite character by quite a bit. XD
...And even if I SHOULD be working on my nuna_fanworks exchange fic instead of watching Kdramas all weekend. >.>;;;;;;;;
( And how about a little angst to round out the post. )
Sorry. I guess maybe watching a movie about a guy who takes letters to heaven from people who lost their loved ones wasn't the best idea right now. In retrospect.

So what DOES get me to post?
A meme, of course. -_____________-
Leave a comment and I'll give you three fandoms about which you are to answer the following questions.
krillia gave me DBSK (...duh), Weiss Kreuz, and Katekyo Hitman REBORN!
( questions go here, yo )
Also, the seller marked the customs form at USD15. Now, this was a damn cheap copy of Prague, but it definitely wasn't USD15. The joys of international shipping. XD
I more or less just made up categories as I went through my pic folders. These don't even BEGIN to cover my favorites. Remember, folks, these are only pics I have on my HD. Think how many more there could be were I to draw from elsewhere. OBSERVE AND FEAR.
Oh, and there are gifs, too. Suck it, Krill. Gifs totally count as pictures. >P
( On to the spam! )
...Okay, I'll stop. >.> Um. Well. Right then.
Thank you for reading.
ETA: ...Yoochun actually INJURING HIS HAND during the filming of the Mirotic MV, on the other hand? Less amusing. WTF, boy?
ETA2: And Jaejoong ends up with rope burns on both wrists. Okay, seriously. WTF. Was NO ONE watching out for those boys on the damn set? Seriously? So much less amused right now. At least the Picture of You sketch is coming up, so I can be happy again about silly boys milking coconuts instead of fuming over silly boys injuring themselves for no good reason. *growl*
...Okay, so my bias is showing, but the POINT is that my screensaver really likes Junsu tonight, and I'm not complaining.
ETA: Up to six now. Still all Junsu. Maybe it's trying to tell me something?
So if you're at ALL interested, or even if you're just confused about what the heck a custom photobook might be, head on over and check them out. Did I mention they're shiny? *_*
Also flailworthy today (although flailing of a completely different sort)- Jaejoong has apparently acquired an armed guard. None of the other pics show those guards hanging out with the others, and they're definitely surrounding the boy, as seen in the fancam.
Am I just imagining it or are the police (who have scarily huge guns, may I say) just surrounding Jaejoong? Did something happen that I don't know about? I mean, if they were watching all the boys, I'd say this was just a response to the 'Yoochun incident' but they aren't. I'm not usually one to pay too much attention to stalker pics (beyond being -_- over how tired the boys look) but... dude, now I'm CURIOUS!
With that thought in mind as I read the article, this caught my eye:
Having allegedly spent most of the night drinking with two friends in a nearby bar, he was reportedly alone when the police arrived on the scene at about 3am.
I'll wait for you to form your own theories as to why that line amused me...
Got them? No? Well, fine, obviously your brains just aren't as convolutedly fangirly as mine. But Jae could SO drink him under the table.
Anyway, in less odd news, I ended up going to a Jewish synagogue tonight for a service. My nephew's confirmation class is going around to different services and things, so I went with my sis and them tonight. It was kind of interesting.
Your result for What Your Taste in Art Says About You Test...
Traditional, Vibrant, and Tasteful
7 Islamic, 0 Impressionist, 7 Ukiyo-e, -22 Cubist, -12 Abstract and 6 Renaissance!
Islamic art is developed from many sources: Roman, Early Christian, and Byzantine styles were taken over in early Islamic architecture; the architecture and decorative art of pre-Islamic Persia was of paramount significance; Central Asian styles were brought in with various nomadic incursions; and Chinese influences . Islamic art uses many geometical floral or vegetable designs in a repetitive pattern known as arabesque. It is used to symbolize the transcendent, indivisible and infinite nature of Allah.
People that like Islamic art tend to be more traditional people that appreciate keeping patterns that they learned and experienced from their past. It is not to say that they are not innovative personalities, they just do not like to let go of their roots. They like to put new ideas into details and make certain that they will work before sharing them with others. Failure is not something they like to think about because they are more interested in being successful and appreciated for their intelligence. These people can also be or like elaborate things in their life as long as they are tasteful. They tend to prefer geometric patterns and vibrant colors.
I don't know how much of this is actually valid, but I am in love with that picture, so at least they nailed my artistic preferences. I would so hang that in my house.
Oh, and today? Has totally somehow turned into a DBSK day. Started out with FINALLY watching the end of Dangerous Love, which I just never quite managed to get around to, then switched over to Tokyo Holiday which was also very hilarious. Watching these old banjuns is also a good way to see where many of the weird fandom conventions come from. Poor boys being slandered by their leader-sshi. XD
